Monday afternoon seemed like a regular Monday. So I did what I normally do to cheer myself up – take a trip downtown to the Apple store. I know, I’m a geek right? We’ll I get there to chop-it-up with a friend of mine and maybe cop something for the Mac, but he’s busy helping Kevin Lamar, a well known percussionist that happened to also be Asher Roth’s drummer. The Aug. 3rd Asher Roth/Kid Cudi concert at the Norva had slipped my mind. Sure enough my friend introduced me to Kev, and the next thing I know, I’m watching 88 Keys, B.o.B., Asher, and Cudi perform. Oh, and by the way, Kanye West was there too. I guess this was a G.O.O.D. Monday after all.
