In the summertime, nothing is better than enjoying good music, the warm sunlight, and a great glass of wine – for the grown folks, of course.
Over the weekend, I did just that. I had the pleasure of enjoying some of the finest wines that the Commonwealth state has to offer. “Just East of Napa” Virginia Winery Tours escorted us to three locations – Grey Ghost Vineyards (Amissville), Unicorn Winery (Amissville), and Paradise Springs Winery (Clifton).
The world of wine is expansive, and this tour was perfect for those of you who are green about the culture. Each private tasting included an array of white and red wines ranging from oaky dry flavors to syrupy sweet tastes. Each place even took the time to detail the foods to enjoy with each type of wine. This is particularly helpful for the people who can’t pin down a favorite.
Well maybe not, since the Lakers took the chip. But remember those bright green kicks Rajon Rondo rocked in the finals – they’re the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse, and they come in a gang of other colors. In an ongoing effort to create a lighter shoe for better performance, Nike employed a super lightweight mesh material to be used on the majority of the outer shell of the Hyperfuse. The shoe is an obvious evolution of the Nike Hyperdunks, but the technology of the Hyperfuse is reminiscent of its running shoe cousin, the Nike Free.
On the eve of their Cravings EP, Sugar Junkie releases their music video, or as some may refer to as a short film for Cross The Sea. Be sure visit the Sugar Junkie site for the download.
