The latest Time Piece I’ve come across is by Nixon. For about eight years, Nixon has been creating skater, surfer, and boarder inspired accessories. I am neither, but I know a good watch when I see one. Right now watches are going with a brighter look, better feel, and unique way for telling time. High-end Time Pieces are looking less like designer watches and more like graphic designer watches.

Personally, I hate the cold feeling my wrist gets when I wear a metal watch, so a silicone or plastic band just feels better. A different or unique way for deciphering what time it is makes the piece a conversation starter. Whether or not the wearer knows what time it is makes it a deal closer.
