Three words: London Street Art
Obviously, London is a major city in England – perhaps a New York City to our United States. A street is a road one travels. And Art… well art is an open ended series of attempts to persuade the world of what beauty is.

Street Art can be portrayed in graffiti, song, dance, and even installments. We in America like to believe that graffiti was born in the boroughs of New York with hip-hop in the late 70′s. That may be arguable, but one thing is certain, NY and London have a strong street art culture.

Notable European Graffiti Artist, Banksy is a highly sought after painter. His images invoke thought and are not the traditional taggings found on subway cars and underpasses. Banksy can be considered an international art icon. Aspiring graffiti artist and art lovers alike may even consider him a house hold name. To make this phenom even more intriguing, over the years of his works, Banksy has managed to remain anonymous. A true graffiti artist – Robin Hood of street aesthetics.

As this observation goes on, we will continue to explore the influences as well as the reasons for this international spread of Street Art notoriety.
