With hip-hop merging closer to alternative genres, rappers are looking for more and more ways to create a different style to call their own.  Rappers are singing their rhymes with unpolished harmonies with punk rapper swag.
Cleveland, Ohio has its own Kid Cudi to portray this unorthodox style of rhythm and rhymes.  His single “Day N Nite” is one of many songs that come off as sincere expression of his individuality with of course a few common likes and habits shared by the hip-hop culture.  Overall the mixtape sponsored by 10 Deep, is a compilation of good lyrics, creativity, and nice beats.
